Position: Door-to-Door Voter Outreach Canvasser
Employment Type: Temporary/Seasonal
Compensation: start at $17hr but based on number of contacts could make $23hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday 10am-3pm
About the Role:
We are seeking reliable, professional canvassers to go door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods to provide voter
information, encourage participation in upcoming elections, and collect basic engagement data. This job
requires significant time spent outdoors and on foot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Walk door-to-door across assigned neighborhoods for extended periods
- Engage residents professionally and respectfully
- Provide voter information and answer basic questions
- Record interactions accurately
- Follow safety procedures and comply with all organizational guidelines
Requirements: - Ability to walk several miles per day and navigate different types of terrain
- Comfort interacting with the public at residences
- Ability to work outdoors in temperatures below 40 degrees
- Strong communication skills
- Must have your own reliable transportation to designated areas
- Professional and respectful demeanor
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a driver license
- Must have a clean background
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with canvassing, sales, field outreach, or similar work
- Ability to work independently
- Familiarity with local neighborhoods
- High School diploma, preferred associate degree
- Must be able to lift/carry 75-lOOlbs
