Licensed Insurance Agent
Holden Temporaries-New Bern is looking for a Licensed Insurance Agent with Property and Casualty.
Job Requirement and Duties Include:
Qualifications: Self-starting and motivated. 1-3 years of experience in customer service and sales or related experience, effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills, confident, positive attitude, likeable, highly disciplined, committed to customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The customer service representative/ insurance agent is generally the first point of contact and is expected to respond to inquiries from customers through proactive and disciplined listening skills through any communication medium making sure problems they are experiencing are resolved or referred to other staff members when needed.
This position also requires processing proper and legal policy change requests, including taking the correct payment amounts due from customers along with electronic and manual filing of insurance documents.
The position requires keeping detailed records of customer transactions and concerns and follow up on customer interactions. The customer service representative – insurance agent will also assist in sales within the agency.
Sales Expectations:
The customer service representative – insurance agent position is to have goals for themselves on generating sales leads for the agency.
Job Requirements/Competencies:
Personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills, listening skills, the ability to influence others, organizational and relationship building abilities, ability to work independently and as a member of a team oriented sales force. *** Must be license in the state of NC.
Pay DOE
Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
